I love sewing and all related aspects of it. From a very early age I could be found with fabric, needle and thread trying to create dolls clothing. Upon leaving school I went on to study all aspects of clothing technology leading to City & Guilds followed by tailoring and a diploma in Art & Design.
After theatrical work experience I went to work for the English National Opera making the costumes. I yearned to share my love of sewing so also studied at college to gain teaching qualifications in order to enthuse others.
I became self employed to be able to juggle children (now adults) and my career. I have continued working for myself for the past twenty years as I enjoy my varied client base and the many different jobs I am asked to undertake.
My motto is 'If it can be sewn - I will sew it!'.
I also now offer private tutition which includes courses from basic sewing skills to pattern cutting.
